The Funniest Leadership Speech Ever - Karen

Get a laugh while opening your talk would definitely be nice. Funny speeches often give the audience a good impression. This speech contained lots of humor sense. I believe not only the audience, but also the speaker had a great time on the stage.

The speaker started with putting the relationship between leadership and his hometown. He described his hometown as a location so far out of the city that even animals don’t want to breed. This won a few laughter and grabbed people’s attention. Then he started describing his father, who played football in high school and used to be in army. “He was always kind of hrrghhhh all the time”. The speaker added some sound and emotional effect that made the speech much more interesting.

Then the speaker talked about his own experience which referred his high school life as a military service. This little metaphor made people eventually understand that he had been tortured pretty badly in high school.

He became a storyteller later on, telling a story of the summer before seventh grade. he had started football practice twice a day and described it as “what kind of crazy fool came up with that”. He used somewhat called sarcastic when saying how joyful he was. Then he humorously said that he was sent to protect the cornerback because he was fat. Imagine how people laughed into convulsion when he said that. A successful speaker would certainly concern to put that much humor in his speech.

The speech was droll, but funny. It had been such a comedy from stem to stem, causing people to think that maybe it is not a leadership speech. But the speaker had already sent the message imperceptibly to the audience.
