A Chubby Guys Texas Leadership Speech

When I think of Texas, I think of people that would whip out a shotgun if you get too close to their lawn.  What I don’t think of is a chubby guy wearing a green polo-shirt giving a leadership speech, but that’s probably what I’ll think of after I watched that speech. 

   What made this speech memorable was that it was really well written and well said. The speeches contents were really interesting, and the way the person said it was also expressive. The speaker used lots of expression, which included variation in volume and tone. When mimicking his father, he would use a different tone of voice to show that. This helped make the speech a lot more interesting. The tone and intensity built up as he went through the speech. His sense of humour is incredibly awesome, and the way he just casually says the punch line makes it extremely hilarious to listen to.  The speaker also used not only hand gestures but full body movements. Another thing I noticed was the way he spoke. It was just like how I thought Texas people spoke, “ I'm not gonna play football no more”. That is one thing that made me find the speech hilarious.

   This speech has changed the way I think of Texas. I won’t see it as a place with aggressive people that value their lawn but as a place full of funny fat guys… No not really :P
