Although I did not understand most of the debate (because the guys were just shouting the whole time) I got a decent idea as to which one of the men was beyond sick. One thing I don't believe is that getting more guns will make the U.S.A a better place. I also think that putting prices on bullets or anything like that is a good idea either. The best way to stop the thousands of people being killed every year is mental checks and the ban on military grade weapons.
As I saying, guns and the crazy people of the world don't go well together. If the citizens of U.S.A insist on having their guns, then I think the government should insist on regular mental checks on those citizens that have firearms. Everyone of the massacres involved a killer that either mentally unstable, depressed, or had some serious hatred of something. if people with these trait did not have access to arms, there would be a lot deaths down south. relatives and friends should also be checked because they may also have access to the weapons. The killer of the Connecticut shooting had used his mother's weapons, right? Thus, let there be mental checks!
Another characteristic that every massacre had was military grade weapons. Only doing mental checks would not be enough. You will never know if crazy people can get passed mental checks until something bad happens. Getting rid of military grade weapons, i.e. fully automatic, semi automatic, and shotguns that are not for hunting. It would be hard to kill 20 children with a .22 cal handgun that only holds 3 bullets a mag right?
If mental checks and bans on military weapons happened, less people would die in the US. There is a reason I'm in Canada... right?
