Recently the Ipad Mini was introduced to the world of technology and they are vanishing from the shelves of Apple stores all around the world. When the Ipad Mini was first seen at a presentation done by Apple, the Ipad Mini was compared with the Google Nexus 7. I understand that Apple is trying to sell there product by talking about the pros of the Ipad Mini, however the Nexus 7 has many pros and can compete with the Ipad Mini any day.
I will first put the topic of the tablets aside and talk about the way the presentation was delivered to the audience in general. The gentleman who was giving the presentation was boring. What I saw on that stage was not someone who was confident and proud to show the world such an amazing device, which the Apple team worked long hours to figure out the design, software, and surpass plenty of hurdles along the way of creating such a cool and modern tablet. The man was not exited and enthusiastic when speaking, and I thought he could have given plenty more eye contact to the audience, and engaged the crowd more to motivate the audience to buy such the wonderful device.
Now I shall go back to the topic of the tablets, and personally I am a Android supporter, however the marvellous things that the Android world has to offer is a topic for another day. I will like to start of with ergonomics. The design of the Nexus 7 is skinnier than the Ipad Mini and is durable easy to hold with one hand and just feels way better than the Ipad Mini, and the Ipad Mini is thinner and slightly lighter in weight but hard to hold in one hand because it is a bit of a stretch, and for the ergonomics category I would have to say the Nexus 7 is the winner. One of the best parts of the Ipad Mini are the apps and just the gaming experience itself, and I personally have tried gaming on both tablets and the Ipad Mini is much better. The reason for this is that Apple made and changed tons of apps to boost your experience on the Ipad Mini to the max whereas the Nexus 7 has apps taken from phones, and I say the Ipad is much better with the apps and gaming side.
I could literally go on and on about the similarity and difference between the two devices, all in all the two devices are practically the same and just a matter of opinion. I hope that all you tech lovers out there have a good time enjoying your tablet ( whichever you may get) or have fun choosing your tablet, Ipad or Nexus 7 you, decide.
