A Harvard justice course covered "The Moral Side of Murder". This was asking "Is Murder ever moral?" where the professor told the students several scenarios about using lives to save lives and asked if the act was moral. The professor himself was an amazing public speaker, he was quick at responding, frequently used gestures and was well prepared for anything that the students said or asked.
The professor of the class had obviously taught this course before for many reasons. He was really confident on the stage and was not rattled by standing in front of hundreds of people. Keeping good eye contact with the audience understand and find the class more interesting. Because of the very large audience of students, the professor walked from both sides of the stage, ensuring that both sides are able to get eye contact from him. He also changed his tone of voice, making the speech more interesting.
The speech itself was not only well said but well written. The speech contained many questions keeping the audience attentive and active with the speaker. The scenarios were also well thought up and made this video one of the most interesting ones we have watched (Interesting enough that I watched the whole video). The PowerPoint went well with the ending part of the speech, adding visuals for the speech with the words in a different way.
The professor was great and delivering the speech. The speech itself was greatly worded. The well written speech and the great public speaker make this a interesting, and extremely informative course.
