IPAD MINI - Karen

So far, the Apple Company has the most successful electronic devices in the world. It maintains 394 retail stores in fourteen countries. Its worldwide average annual revenue was 146 billion dollars. However, how many more fancy products are able to be made with our limited technologies? Recently, there is a new product named ipad mini, it has amazing features and is incredibly smart, according to the commercial speech. 

The speaker asked us a question that worth us to think about. “And what can you do on an ipad mini that you can’t already do on the amazing fourth generation ipad?” well, obviously, the speech will be talking about the new features of an ipad mini. The description started with the outside feature of an ipad mini. As though said, you can hold it with one hand. People laughed at it, but actually, it’s true. The ipad mini had a totally new design; with transparent glasses covering it, the ipad itself was finely crafted. The amazing part is how thin it is. It is 7.2 mm thin, thinner for 23 percent, thinner than a pencil. It weighs 53 percent lighter and is compared with a pad of paper. 

The next that the speaker was talking about was the choice of screen sizes. As in second generation ipad, the diagnoses were 9.7 inches; in the ipad mini, it is 7.9 inches. And the length by width was the same. The screen sizes are so important because it is designed exactly for the software. Soon he started giving examples of famous software, for example, Facebook, games, stick-run, etc. There were 275,000+ different kinds of software but it would be impossible to lay them all out, but a few of them would be enough to prove the amazing features of this new ipad mini. Comparing ipad mini to an Android tablet, the speaker once again convinced the audience that their ipad mini is better. 

 

After this speech, even I had a desire to buy it, not saying the people who actually have money in their pockets. But is it really more useful than a fourth generation ipad? Or is it just a waste of money? Nowadays, people think that having an electric device in their pocket can make them more popular. In fact, what can they do on an iPhone that they can’t already do on a regular smartphone? Except for calling, sending messages, socializing, all you can do is to play games. But statistics had also shown that games make people stupider. In that case, why would any smart person use hundreds of dollars to buy a device that makes them stupid? So for sure, I personally think that an ipad mini is an amazing invention, but also a devastating product.

    Just to let you know, I’m not the kind of person who is really picky about their devices and to be absolutely honest, I’m not big on technology as a whole. So long as I can do what I want to do efficiently, I’m happy with the device. Terms like dual core processor and 8 megapixel cameras are more or less gibberish to me. For this reason, I’ve always picked Apple over Android.

iPad Mini. Is it Just Apple's Old Tablet... Shrunk Down?

  I'd like to start off by saying that I am extremely biased when it comes to Apple versus Android.  As an all out Android lover, one would think that I would prefer an Android tablet over an iPad any day.  But to me, I would, actually prefer an iPad over an Android tab for numerous reasons.  Although, because this is actually supposed to be a review on Thomas Crook's presentation, not the devices, my reasons will be stated after.

The Truth Behind The Ipad Mini

 

        Recently the Ipad Mini was introduced to the world of technology and they are vanishing from the shelves of Apple stores all around the world. When the Ipad Mini was first seen at a presentation done by Apple, the Ipad Mini was compared with the Google Nexus 7. I understand that Apple is trying to sell there product by talking about the pros of the Ipad Mini, however the Nexus 7 has many pros and can compete with the Ipad Mini any day.
