I personally think all humans are made equal, no matter what they do with their own lives later in their lives is there own choice, either if they become criminals in society, or they become billionaire. If I was given a choice to choose to kill between a criminal, and an innocent pedestrian, and was given no time to think, I would obviously choose the criminal. Now, think you were in the spot where there was a police station holding 100 criminals inside with no policeman currently guarding, and an business man in danger, though the police station was only
Now, I would like to look at the example that the speaker has given us from the video. The speaker gave an example where there was a trolley car, and it couldn’t stop, and there were two tracks, one would lead you to five workers and would die because your trolley car would hit them, or the other track where there is only one worker. I would choose to hit the five to hit, since it is morally unjust to choose to kill a person, the reason that you kill the five workers is pending on the fact that you have no choice, and on the other hand killing that one person was your own choice and you chose to kill or murder that one person, and therefore you would have to be put up for trial.
I may be a fair person in many ways; however I would like to also explore another possibility of a different scenario. In this scenario everything stays the same except the fact that within the five people, one of them is someone you know, or love. I personally would go right ahead and move onto the second track, even if it means to be sentenced to jail or other means of punishment, and I am not suggesting that my fellow readers should do as I do, as I am not persuading you or forcing you to only explore this possibility, however that is what I would do, for any of my family members that I love and care about.
